January 24, 2023: National Girl Child Day

For every girl and every woman, Menstrual Hygeine is as important as Menstrual Cycle and so, empowering girls and women through Menstrual Hygeine Awareness Sessions was our main goal on the occasion of the National Girl Child Day.

January 29, 2023: Charity Activity

IAP Mumbai contributed in this camp by donating various medicines to the underprivileged children who attended the camp. The children were examined by a team of doctors headed by pediatricians, Dr Girish Sonnekar and Dr Sriram Saraf from Mumbai.

February 14, 2023: Cancer Day

To celebrate the International Childhood Cancer Day, IAP Mumbai organized a Fun N Frolic Morning filled with Mandala Art Colours, laughter, dance, music and yummy cake with the kids in the Oncology OPD at the B.J.Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.

February 10, 2023: National Deworming Day

On 10th February, National Deworming Day, one of the largest public health programmes that covers a large number of children over a short period, IAP Mumbai took a small initiative towards making the city worm free.

March 2023: Child And Adolescent Health Care Week

As a continuation of the Child And Adolescent Health Care Week celebrations, IAP Mumbai in association with Inner Wheel Club of Bombay West, organized a 2- series talk on “PUBERTY- I AM READY” by Adolescent Health Expert and our EB member Dr Jagruti Sanghvi.

IAP Mumbai conducted 2 camps in collaboration with the Fayth clinic as a part of the International Child And Adolescent Health Care Week celebrations.

March 2023: World TB Day

The World TB Day is observed every year on the 24th of March.
The theme for this year is – “Yes, We can End TB.”

April 2023: Global Child Nutrition

Global Child Nutrition month is one of the most important international events celebrated in April each year since its inceptio UBn in 2006.
Given the fact that kids today face a significant responsibility of building the future for humankind.
We need to make sure globally that communities are raising strong, healthy and capable kids by providing safe, balanced and nutritious foods.

April 2023: World Autism Awareness Month

The World Autism Awareness Month is celebrated in April each year.
IAP Mumbai organised a Free Dental Camp at SOPAN(Society of Parents with Autism and other Neurological Disorders) special school on 11th April, 2023.

May 2023: World Thalassemia Day Celebrations

On the occasion of the World Thalassemia Day Celebrations, IAP Mumbai donated BIOR FLEX 01 BS and BIOR 02 PLUS BS blood transfusion filters to the Hemato- Oncology Dept, Wadia Hospital for the young Thalassemic Warriors coming for regular transfusions.
It is our very small but a humble attempt to help for a cause.

June 2023: Help the Children with basic school Stationeries

June 2023: World Sickle Cell Day

June 19 is celebrated as the World Sickle Cell Day each year to create awareness on the Sickle Cell Disease amongst the general public.

April 2023: The World Malaria Day

The World Malaria Day, celebrated each year on the 25th April, is an occasion to create awareness and commitment for Malaria Prevention and Control, thereby decreasing the incidence – prevalence in the community and reducing the morbities due to the disease.

August 2023: World Breastfeeding Week celebrations – PNC ward of Sir JJ group of Hospitals, Mumbai

Breastfeeding is the tree of life..it nurtures and fosters, nourishes and sustains…

August 2023: World Breastfeeding Week – Ruxmani Lying-in Hospital

As part of the World Breastfeeding Week celebrations, a Role play was organized at the Ruxmani Lying-in Hospital.

September 2023: National Nutrition Month

The National Nutrition Month or the Rashtriya Poshan Maah is celebrated each year in the month of September all over India to create awareness and emphasize the importance of ideal nutrition and its impact on the overall growth and development of any child. The theme for this year is, “Fuel for the Future”.

October 2023: Your Need… Our Concern…

IAP Mumbai was privileged to donate a supply of 6 month use of sanitary napkins for 63 underprivileged girls of the Burma shell railway line slum.

November 2023: Child and Adolescent Health Care Week (CAHCW)

On occasion of Child and Adolescent Health Care Week (CAHCW) , IAP Mumbai was happy and privileged to meet few requirements of the Shelter Home, Asha Sadan at Dongri, Mumbai.

On occasion of IAP Healthy Lifestyle Day of the Child and Adolescent Health Care Week (CAHCW) celebrations, IAP Mumbai in colloboration with the Rajesh Pacharkar Foundation organized a health talk on Personal Hygeine on the 22nd November, 2023.

November 2023: World Anemia Day

The World Anemia Day was celebrated by IAP on the 26th of November, 2023.

December 2023: World AIDS Day

IAP Mumbai in collaboration with the Infectious Diseases Division, B.J.Wadia Hospital for Children, celebrated the World AIDS Day on the 30th November, 2023. The theme this year is “Let Communities Lead.”

January 2024: Mega Medical Camp

A Mega Medical Camp was arranged by the Dr Rajesh Pacharkar Foundation in the tribal areas of Raigad district on the 21st January, 2024.

March 2024: 1 meal daily for 150 underprivileged children

Nutrition is the only remedy that can bring full recovery. Food is our best medicine.

April 2024: World TB Day

On occasion of the World TB Day celebrations, IAP Mumbai was privileged to contribute to the Nutritional rehabilitation of 50 children undergoing treatment for Tuberculosis, registerd at the Prabhadevi Govt TB Clinic for a period of 6 months in colloboration with the BalAsha Trust.
