First Intercollegiate Pediatric Undergraduate Quiz

🌺IAP Mumbai conducted its First Intercollegiate Pediatric Undergraduate Quiz at the Department of Pediatrics, TNMC and BYL Nair Hospital on April 18, 2024.

🌺The occasion was graced by Dr Nehal Shah, President IAP Mumbai who gave the welcome remarks and a motivational talk to all the participants. Dr Sushma Save, Professor Additional was the local co-ordinator for the quiz.

🌺5 teams comprising of two participants per team from Seth GSMC and KEM hospital, LTMMC and Sion Hospital, TNMC and Nair Hospital, RN Cooper Hospital & KJ Somaiya Hospital participated in the quiz with full enthusiasm.
The quiz masters were Senior Residents, Dr Lakshita & Dr Ratna. They explained the rules of the quiz and the marking system in detail before the start of the quiz.
The entire quiz covered general and systemic pediatrics, neonatology, immunization, developmental pediatrics and genetics over 6 rounds with a pictorial round and a very interesting KBC round.

🌺The Winners of the quiz were Team Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital represented by
Aditya Nair and Leeladhar Nabar and the
1st Runners Up team was
Team LTMMC & Sion Hospital comprising
Tulsi Chavan and Jayalakshmi Iyer.

🌺It was very well attended with the audience round participation from the faculties,residents and other undergraduate students.
The quiz ended with the distribution of gift vouchers and merit certificates to the winners and 1st runners up.
Rest of the teams were given certificates of participation.
