Asthma Training Module for the Postgraduate students

🌺IAP Mumbai in association with the IAP National Respiratory Chapter, organized an Asthma Training Module for the Postgraduate students of various teaching hospitals at the Sion IAP Mumbai office on the 15th of June, 2024 from 2.30 pm onwards.

🌺The module began with a welcome note and introduction of the faculty by Dr Nehal Shah. A pre test questionnaire was distributed to all the delegates before the session began.This was followed by interactive sessions discussing the management of under 5 wheezers, children with Asthma from 5-12 years and children above 12 years age in detail, covering the symptoms, investigations and management.
The sessions were delivered by Dr Indu Khosla, Dr Uday Pai, Dr Sushant Mane, Dr Parmarth Chandane and Dr Vikram Patra.

🌺There were 3 workstations on Inhalation devices, DPI, Spirometry, PEFR and FOT which were appreciated greatly by the students for all the practical points relevant to the use of the devices and basic interpretation of Spirometry readings.

🌺The module was attended by 57 students.

🌺IAP Mumbai expresses special thanks to IAP National Respiratory Chapter to grant permission to conduct the module.

🌺The entire module was organized by Dr Nehal Shah and Dr Sushant Mane on behalf of Team IAP Mumbai.
