How to Rationalize Antibiotic usages

🌺To celebrate IAP Antibiotics Awareness Week, our EB member Dr Tanushri Mukherjee arranged a session on 3rd October 2024 titled “How to Rationalize Antibiotic usages” to an interactive audience of around 30 Including doctors and nurses in Cloudnine Hospital, Malad.

🌺The session was introduced by Dr Tanushri Mukherjee.
This was followed by various interesting talks –
1.“How to read antibiogram and practical aspects of different cultures “ was taken by Dr .Shweta Naik, Microbiologist, Suburban Diagnostic.
2 “Non-antibiotic ways of treating infection: 10 points” taken by Dr Piyush Shah, Paediatrician and a neonatologist attached to Cloudnine Hospital.
3.“How to approach an Outbreak” was taken by Priyanka Jadav, Infection control nurse and Educator of Cloudnine hospital
4 “Prevention of infection in NICU, practical aspects” was taken by Neha Bagde, NICU incharge, cloudnine hospital.

🌺The audience was very interactive and the session was appreciated very much.

🌺The entire event was organised and coordinated by Dr Tanushri Mukherjee on behalf of team IAP Mumbai.
