Body Safety- Understanding Safe and Unsafe Touch

🌺IAP Mumbai EB member Dr Jagruti Sanghvi was invited for a talk on “Body Safety- Understanding Safe and Unsafe Touch” at the “KDN Shruti School for Hearing Impaired” Juhu, on 25th September 2024, to celebrate International Day of the Deaf.

🌺 Renowned actor and educationist Dr Swaroop Sampat Rawal gave an engaging talk on “Learning Life Skills”, while Dr Jagruti Sanghvi explained the concept of “Safe and Unsafe Touch” and emphasised that parents need to trust their children if they ever communicate to them about such mishaps. A total of more than 150 audience including 85 students (aged 7-17 years), their parents and the entire school staff along with their principal Mrs Devilaben attended the session with a lot of interest. The students were given a sketch of “My Safe Circle” as a home family take-away assignment to enlist their 5 safe and trusted adults!!

🌺The session was coordinated by Dr Jagruti Sanghvi on behalf of IAP MUMBAI and Dr Bhavna Patel on behalf of Rotary Club of Bombay West and Inner Wheel Club of Bombay West.
