Precision Nutrition for Metabolic Health

🌺A CME on ‘Precision Nutrition for Metabolic Health: Managing Inborn Errors of Metabolism in Pediatric Practice’ was organized by the Departments of Pediatrics and Dietetics, Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital in collaboration with IAP Mumbai on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at NH-SRCC Children’s Hospital, Haji Ali, Mumbai.

🌺The event was organized as a part of the Centenary Celebrations of KEM hospital and in observance of World Rare Disease Awareness Month.

🌺The program saw an enthusiastic turnout of 70 delegates.

🌺The expert faculty comprised Dr. Mamta Muranjan, Dr. Shetal Mhamunkar, Dr. Saurabh Dani, Dr. Ankita Singh, Dr. Chaitanya Datar, Dr. Archana Kher, Dr. Anitha Haribalkrishna, Dr. Shruti Bajaj, Dr. Ami Shah, metabolic dieticians Ms. Safala Mahadik, Ms. Vaishali Madkaikar, and Ms. Anuja Agarwala.

🌺The CME featured insightful case presentations by residents and engaging talks by distinguished experts in genetics and metabolic medicine. The sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis, management, and long-term follow-up of children with IEMs with a strong focus on the pivotal role of dietary management in optimizing outcomes.

🌺The CME was coordinated by Dr. Mamta Muranjan and Dr. Shrikant Jamdade from KEM Hospital and Dr. Sikha Agarwal and Dr. Rachna Keshwani on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
