Forbidden Licks, Sips and Sniffs- Accidental Poisoning in Children

🌺On 9th April 2025,* IAP Mumbai Monthly Connect- Zaraa Hatke , Zaraa Bachke* spearheaded its third episode titled “Forbidden Licks, Sips and Sniffs- Accidental Poisoning in Children” and saw an excellent response from more than 154 pediatricians from all over India.

🌺The session began with a warm welcome address by Dr Nehal Shah.

🌺Experts for the session- Dr Soonu Udani, Dr Mihir Sarkar and Dr Anupama Yerra enlightened the audience with their expertise and experience and covered many common accidental poisonings in children. The discussion was replete with clinical presentation, mnemonics, toxi-dromes, and management protocols used in the best ICUs of India.

🌺As always, our moderators, Dr Nitin Shah and Dr Samir Dalwai tried to discuss the A-Z of pediatric toxicology in their inimitable style. Dr Mahesh Mohite added some invaluable comments too.

🌺The audience was participative and interactive, that made the topic interesting and lively. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Jagruti Sanghvi.
