Lactation Awareness Session

🌺Fortis Hospital, Mulund in association with IAP Mumbai organized the Lactation Awareness Session for all Healthcare providers to clarify their perception about breastfeeding & enable them to spread awareness in the community.
Around 100 staff participated in the event on the 6th August 2025 & gained valuable insights from Dr Sameer Sadawarte, senior Pediatrician, Ms Shubhangi Bhoir, Lactation counselor, Maternity unit Incharge and Ms Bincy Sunil, Nurse Educator.

🌺The event also witnessed the launch of Patient Information Leaflets for ANC mothers & release of Nurse Education Material on breastfeeding for NICU, Cardiac PICU & Maternity unit.

🌺The event was coordinated by Dr Sameer Sadawarte on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
