World Breastfeeding Week

🌺As part of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1st–7th), a community awareness session was conducted on 5th August in the OPD of Fortis Hospital. *Dr. Chinmayee (Pediatric Resident), Nurse Educator Bincy and Suchita Gag (Lactation counsellor) led the session, educating patients and their families on the importance of breastfeeding. Held in collaboration with BPNI and IAP Mumbai, the initiative aimed to empower women to breastfeed confidently—at home, at work, and in public. The session focused on awareness, busting myths, and building a supportive environment, reinforcing that every feed is a story—a special bond between mother and child.
