World ORS Day

🌺”If we want to change community health, we must begin by educating those who serve it”. 🌺

🌺As an extension of World ORS Day initiatives, IAP Mumbai took the opportunity to engage and empower Aanganwadi sewikas from Bandra through a hands-on training program focused on the diagnosis and management of diarrhoeal dehydration, and the appropriate use of ORS in the community.

🌺The session was conducted by Dr. Rachna Keshwani, EB member, IAP Mumbai, and was attended by over 100 Aanganwadi sewikas who in turn train the other workers.

🌺To reinforce learning, two plays were enacted by the Aanganwadi workers, including a live demonstration of ORS preparation — making the session both engaging and impactful.
