Hey Puberty- I am Ready!

🌺As a part of the Daughters’ Day celebrations of the IAP Child and Adolescent Health Care Week, Dr Jagruti Sanghvi conducted a “Hey Puberty- I am Ready!” session for std 5-10 girl students of NSM school in Vile Parle East.

🌺The interactive session was attended by 225 girls and their teachers, who enthusiastically participated in games and activities specially designed to make the session interesting. Dr Jagruti Sanghvi gave a scientific explanation of the physiology of puberty, the use of sanitary pads, and also touched upon the topic of Sustainable Menstruation. The girls opened up and asked many questions.

🌺The session was coordinated by Rtn Urvi Kothari on behalf of Rotary Club of Bombay Airport and by Dr Jagruti Sanghvi on behalf of IAP Mumbai.

🌺A similar session was conducted for the girls of Grade 5 of RN Poddar School by Dr Jagruti Sanghvi.

🌺Dr Jagruti Sanghvi conducted one more session of “Puberty -I am Ready” for std 5 girls of R N Poddar CBSE School. The interactive session was attended by 40 girls and 3 teachers. It was facilitated by our IAP Mumbai member Dr Ami Deokar.
