Your Need, Our Concern

🌺Children living in underprivileged environments are often faced with challenges in physical growth and development due to undernutrition, inadequate vaccination, poor hygiene and most importantly, lack of awareness, thus making them prone to frequent infections eventyally compromising their overall outcomes.

🌺As part of the IAP Child and Adolescent Health Care Week Celebrations and going by their principle of “Your Need, Our Concern”, it has been extremely fulfilling for IAP Mumbai to support the distribution of Personal Hygiene kits to 200 underprivileged children in the Borli Panchatan area of Raigad district during this month. The kit comprises of nail cutter, napkin, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, moisturizer, hair oil, Talcum powder, ear buds, pouch.

🌺The distribution of these kits will be facilitated along with an awareness talk on adequate nutrition and importance of personal hygiene, delivered by the team of healthcare workers under Dr Pacharkar.
