Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NBFBI initiative at BSES hospital Andheri West on 11th June 2026.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla, Dr Nita Jagad and Sister Punam Rami. The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 About 30-35 staff nurses attended the program

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Maithili Joshi on behalf of BSES hospital and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of IAP Mumbai
