Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NBFBI initiative at Cuddles n Cure Children’s Hospital on 24th June 2026.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla, Dr Nita Jagad, Dr Vinay Mishra and Dr Rushil Thumar The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 About 15 staff nurses attended the program

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Vinay Mishra on behalf of Cuddles n Cure Children’s Hospital and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
