Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NFBI initiative at Upasani Superspeciality Hospital on 3rd July 2026*.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rushil Thumar and Dr Vinay Mishra. The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 About 30 staff nurses and 5 junior doctors attended the program.

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Vinay Mishra on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
