​🌸The 9th National Conference of the IAP Medicolegal Chapter, MLCON 2026 , was successfully hosted by IAP Mumbai on 10th and 11th October 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

​🌸Marking a historic milestone for the chapter, MLCON 2026 recorded the highest-ever registrations for a national medicolegal conference till date, drawing an overwhelming participation of delegates nationwide.

​🌸The grand inauguration and academic proceedings were graced and ably guided by eminent dignitaries on the dais, including Chief Guest Dr. Gopinath Shenoy (Obstetrician and eminent legal expert) and Guest of Honour Mr. Sanjay Singh (Chief, UNICEF Maharashtra).

​🌸The event featured prominent leaders from Central IAP and state chapters, including CIAP Hon. Secretary Dr. Ruchira Maheshwari , CIAP Hon. Treasurer Dr. Alok Bhandari , CIAP Jt. Secretary Dr. Mahesh Mohite, Medicolegal Chapter Chairperson 2026 Dr. Satish Sharma, and Medicolegal Chapter Secretary 2026 Dr. Hemant Gangolia.
​🌸The leadership team also included Maharashtra IAP President 2026 Dr. Sanjeev Joshi, Maharashtra IAP Secretary 2026 Dr. Renu Boralkar, Mumbai IAP President 2026–27 Dr. Rajesh Kasla, Mumbai IAP Treasurer 2025–26 Dr. Jagruti Sanghvi, Organizing Chairpersons Dr. Bakul Parekh and Dr. Samir Dalwai, alongside Chief Organizing Secretary Prof. Dr. Bela Verma.

​🌸The comprehensive scientific program brought together legal luminaries and senior pediatricians through insightful panel discussions, interactive deliberations, and case-based workshops focusing on clinical risk management, medical ethics, defensive documentation, and patient safety.
