World Autism Awareness Day

🌺On occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, IAP Mumbai organized an Awareness session for the parents of Kiddie planet international School in Ghatkopar West.

🌺Dr Neha Nabar discussed normal developmental milestones of children and the red flag signs that should alarm the caregivers of a probability of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ms Ayushi discussed screen time reduction, a need of the hour in today’s world. The remedial measures of managing behavioral disorders was very elaborately described by Dr Barkha Chawla.

🌺The session was attended by 15 parents and 8 teachers and staff of the school with active interaction.The session was indeed helpful for the teachers as they understood the red flag signs to be observed in children.

🌺The entire program was co ordinated by Dr Neha Nabar on behalf of Team IAP Mumbai.
