AHEAD module (Adolescent Health Education And Disease Prevention)

🌸IAP Mumbai conducted the central IAP AHEAD module (Adolescent Health Education And Disease Prevention) on 2nd August 2026, under the leadership of IAP President Dr Neelam Mohan.

🌸The module was based on theme TEEN –
🌸Total Fitness
🌸Emotional Health
🌸Empowered Choices
🌸Nurturing Care.

🌸The module was conducted by outstanding and dedicated faculty in the field of Adolescent Health- Dr Shailaja Mane, Dr Amruta Shirodkar, Dr Amog Shahane, Dr Kalyani Patra and Dr Jagruti Sanghvi. Together they covered the physical, emotional and mental aspects of adolescence as well sensitive topics like Gender dysphoria, Substance Abuse and Relationships. The audience was empowered with various mental health tools and how to use them in practice. It was attended by 32 delegates, who found the module rewarding and unique to learn.
