Anemia Awareness day

🌺On 13th February, Pediatric department GMC GTH and Cama hospital celebrated the National Deworming day and Anemia Awareness day for Children, Parents and Staff Nurses.

🌺A brief introduction about the subject was given by MSW Mr. Vijay Gaikwad.

🌺Dr. Bela Verma explained the reasons for Anemia prevalence among women and children. Dr. Pranav Chavan (SR) spoke about the clinical symptoms of worm infestation and Anemia. Dr. Nehal Shah, past President IAP Mumbai, spoke on the prevention and management of the problems.

🌺The event was well attended by children, parents, MSW, (Mr Vijay Gaikwad, Mrs Shraddha Palve), the Clinical Psychologists Ms. Dolly and Ms. Amruta as well as the staff Sister, Nurses in the OPD.

🌺Dr. Kaif ( Assistant Professor) conducted a similar program in Cama hospital OPD along with the residents.

🌺We are grateful to respected Dean Dr Jeetendra Deshmukh Sir for giving us the opportunity to conduct the Awareness program.
