Asthma training module (ATM)

🌺IAP Mumbai, in association with the National Respiratory Chapter, organised the Asthma training module (ATM) – on 11th May 2025. at P. D. Hinduja Hospital from 9.00 am – 4.00 pm.

🌺This was led by experts, Dr Indu Khosla, Dr Sushant Mane, Dr Parmarth Chandane and Dr. Abhinaya.

🌺 Delegates were trained for the need for accurate diagnosis of asthma at different ages and the appropriate therapy and step up strategies. Setting up of an Asthma clinic in office practice along with model case discussions and prescription writing helped the delegates get a clear overview of the illness. There were workstations to explain the use of various inhaler devices, use of Spirometry and FOT and PEFR estimation.

🌺The event was successfully managed by the workshop coordinator Dr Nehal Shah, Faculty co ordinator Dr Abhinaya and local coordinator Dr Ameeshi Doshi with special help from Dr. Tanya Matthew of Hinduja Hospital. IAP Mumbai expresses special thanks to Dr Jayant Joshi for his support and guidance to conduct the module.

🌺The module was attended by 58 delegates and 4 faculty.
