Awareness Talk on ORS

🌸IAP Mumbai organised and conducted an awareness talk on ORS in the OPD at Rawalpada Municipal Maternity Hospital on 17/7/2026

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Nita Jagad for the patients waiting in the ANC and PNC OPD. The importance of using ORS and prevention of dehydration in diarrheal diseases was explained. Also the difference between WHO ORS and commercially available drinks with similar names was explained and stressed on how to choose the right ORS.
Attendees were explained in detail about preparation of ORS and how to make salt and sugar solution at home.

🌸 About 30 patients and their relatives attended the session.
