CHEST CT SIMPLIFIED

🌺IAP Mumbai alongwith NH SRCC Hospital and Respiratory Chapter, AOP Mumbai organised a one of its kind hands on CT Scan workshop- “CHEST CT SIMPLIFIED” on 8th December 2024.

🌺The workshop intended to enhance the understanding and showing the finer nuances of reading a CT Scan. All the delegates were provided with reading material 10 days before the workshop.

🌺Dr Bhavin Jhankaria led the proceedings with a riveting session on the ABC of CT. This was followed by “It’s All Gray” on the anatomy of upper airway, lung and mediastinum by Dr Hiren Panwala and Dr Sonal Garg. There was an interactive case discussion where the experts Dr Richa Jain, Dr Hiren Panwala, Dr Sonal Garg and Dr Bhavin Jhankaria were presented with different cases by Dr Abhinaya V and Dr Tanvi Modi. Dr Gopinathan K presented the newer modalities in Imaging.
Dr Anagha Joshi led a case based discussion on the mediastinal pathologies. This was followed by a session on pleural pathologies by Dr Hiren Panwala. Dr Sonal Garg, Dr Indu Khosla and Dr Hiren Panwala then conducted a quiz on various spotters in CT Scan. For the last session the delegates were divided into groups and were asked to read different scans based on the day’s teachings .

🌺It was attended by 47 delegates and was very well appreciated by all.

🌺The whole program was coordinated by Dr Indu Khosla, Dr Nehal Shah and Dr Amin Kaba.
