Childhood Obesity

🌺On the occasion of World Obesity Day on the 4th of March 2025, IAP Mumbai conducted an awareness talk on Childhood Obesity at Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial (Railway) Hospital Byculla.

🌺The talk was given by Pediatric Endocrinologist Dr. Rachna Keshwani.It was attended by caregivers, pediatricians, residents and the OPD staff.

🌺The talk focused on principles of healthy eating and active living for children and families.

🌺As a part of the same activity, all children coming to the OPD were screened for overweight and obesity.

🌺The activity was co-ordinated by Dr. Anita Manoj and Dr. Dipti Jain on behalf of the hospital and by EB Member Dr. Rachna Keshwani on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
