CME, Pulmo-Radio Cross talk

🌺The 5th session of the monthly online CME, Pulmo-Radio Cross talk organized by the Respiratory Chapter of IAP Mumbai in collaboration with IAP Mumbai and co-hosted by the National Respiratory Chapter was conducted on 4th July 2025 from 8.00 – 9.00 am on the zoom platform.

🌺The meeting was based on an interesting case presented by Dr Sumayya, IAP NRC Pediatric Pulmonology fellow at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad, guided by Dr Naveen Saradhi, Consultant Paediatric pulmonolgist, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. It was a complex case of a right upper lobe collapse, with a pulmonary sling compressing on the right main bronchus and a complex AV malformation associated with the lesion.The chest radiographs, CT chest and CT angiography findings, were clearly and precisely explained by Consultant Radiologists Dr Hiren Panwala and Dr Sonal Garg. Clinical aspects were discussed by Dr Indu Khosla, Dr Naveen Saradhi and session moderated by Dr Tanvi Modi.
The panel of experts explained the anatomical, radiological and clinical complexities of the case in great detail, while teaching all the participants about the further management.

🌺It was truly an enriching learning experience for all the participants.
