Complementary Feeding

🌺Complementary Feeding is an essential bridge from breastfeeding to home meals in a stepwise approach.

🌺IAP Mumbai organised an awareness session on the same on 11th June 2025 , Wednesday at BDBA Hospital Kandivali.

🌺Patients were educated about timely, adequate introduction of various food groups, safe and hygienic ways to prepare them, how to do active, responsive feeding for optimal growth of their child for a healthier tomorrow, in their local language.

🌺The entire session was conducted by Dr Arpita Shah Vakil, Dr Nita Jagad, and Dr Rajaram Welling. Booklets to aid for the same were also distributed.

🌺Resident doctors, staff, and around 50 parents attended the same.

🌺The session was coordinated by Dr Arpita Shah Vakil on behalf of IAP Mumbai and Dr Rajaram Welling on behalf of BDBA hospital.
