Complementary Feeding Day

🌺As a part of the Complementary Feeding Day celebrations, an interactive and informative session was organised at BDBA Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali by IAP Mumbai on the 10th June 2024.

🌺 Parents of the patients admitted in wards were addressed and a seperate session in PNC ward was also conducted.
Dr Ulka Ghatkar, M.S. Of the hospital along with Dr Ajay graced the occasion.

🌺Dr Arpita Shah & Dr Nita Jagad conducted the entire session. Timely and appropriate introduction of Weaning foods, method of cooking, do’s and don’ts, the correct volume were all discussed. Importance of continuation of breastfeeding and hygiene was stressed. Balanced diet and nutrition were discussed for older kids. Booklets containing recipes for complimentary feeding were distributed.
