Health Check-up camp

🌺A successful two-day Health Check-up camp was held on January 27th and 28th 2025 at Mulund Vidhya Mandir, organized by the Rotary Club of Mumbai Bhandup in collaboration with Fortis Hospital Mulund and IAP Mumbai. Dr. Sameer Sadawarte, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Fortis Hospital Mulund, was invited as a special guest and conducted health check-ups for nearly 200 children over the course of the two days.

🌺In addition to the general health check-ups, Dr. Sadawarte delivered informative sessions on personal hygiene, sleep, and nutrition, addressing children, parents, and teachers. The camp also included dental check-ups, dietician consultations, ophthalmic examinations. A few children were identified with health issues and were referred for further follow-up check-ups at Fortis Hospital Mulund, free of charge.

🌺Parents also had the opportunity to undergo blood investigations, including CBC, blood sugar (RBS), and blood pressure checks.

🌺Dr. Sameer Sadawarte’s valuable contributions, along with the collaborative efforts of all involved, made the camp an enriching and impactful initiative for the health and well-being of the community.
