IAP ki Baat Community ke saath initiative

🌺To commemorate the World Liver Day and World Immunisation Week which is also a part of IAP ki Baat Community ke saath initiative , a special event was organized on 30th April 2024 by Pediatric G.I Department of B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children and IAP Mumbai.

🌺Dr Ira Shah, Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology & Pediatric Infectious diseases department with her team and a Pediatric Surgeon addressed the parents regarding Pediatric Liver conditions. Parents also shared experiences of their successful Liver Transplant journey.

🌺Dr Reepa Agrawal gave a talk on all about routine immunisation including Hep A and Hep B vaccines. She also emphasised on the vaccination schedules in pre and post liver transplant patients.Parents were encouraged to keep the immunization complete for age.

🌺A Musical Magic Show entertained all the kids and their families.

🌺The highlight was an innovative selfie booth made from the OPD curtain stand by the staff.

🌺Snack boxes were distributed to all the 70 attendees.

🌺The entire event was highly appreciated by all. It was organised by Dr Vishrutha (Wadia) and Dr Reepa Agrawal on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
