Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session

🌺An insightful Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session was conducted by Dr Amruta Shirodkar at Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir School, Bandra East, for 130 girls from Grades 6 to 8 as part of the IAP Adolescent and Child Health Week The program was conducted on 12th Nov 2025

🌺The session provided basic information about menstruation and hygiene, emphasized the importance of self-care, and aimed at empowering girls to be confident and comfortable about their bodies.

🌺On behalf of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Mumbai Branch, sanitary pads were distributed to 200 girls to promote healthy menstrual practices.

🌺The program was well received and appreciated, inspiring the girls to take pride in womanhood.

🌺The program was coordinated by Dr Amruta Shirodkar on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
