National Deworming Day – CSSC, Bandra

🌺”Awareness is the greatest agent for change…”

🌺On the occasion of National Deworming Day, IAP Mumbai organized n Awareness Session at the CSSC, Bandra on the 7th February, 2024.

🌺The session was attended by around 60 Anganwadi and Primary Health Care Workers.The attendees were explained about the various worm infestations in children, their manifestations and treatment. The importance of thorough hand Hygeine and Sanitation along with other means to prevent worm infestations, was delivered in a very interactive manner in their local language.
Around 100 kits containing nailcutters, soap and Albendazole syrup was distributed to the workers, staff and also given away for use for the underprivileged children.

🌺Illustrative posters to display at the health centres and conduct health talks were given to the attendees.

🌺IAP Mumbai expresses special thanks to Dr Ramesh Potdar Sir, President CSSC for giving permission to conduct the session at the centre.

🌺The entire program was co ordinated by Dr Nehal Shah along with Dr Sanjay Ojha on behalf of Team IAP Mumbai.
