National Girl Child Day

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day celebrated on 24th Jan 2025, IAP Mumbai conducted a session on Healthy Lifestyle, Personal Hygiene and Menstrual Hygiene on 21st Jan 2025 at Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir School Bandra East Mumbai.

The session was conducted for 190 female students of Grade 6 to Grade 9
Dr Nehal Shah took an engaging and interactive session on a healthy lifestyle, mental health and personal hygiene. Dr Amruta Shirodkar delivered a very useful talk on menstrual hygiene and answered the queries of the students. A video demonstrating menstrual hygiene basics was shown to the students.
IAP Mumbai donated a packet of sanitary pad to each student while emphasizing on its correct use and disposal.
The session was very well appreciated by the management of the school
The session was coordinated by Dr Amruta Shirodkar on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
