National IAP BLS and CPR day

🌺On occasion of the National IAP BLS and CPR day observed on 21st July each year, a mass awareness program was organized on spreading awareness on basic life support skills by the IAP Mumbai Branch in association with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai.

🌺The event was held on 20th July at the CPS office. The session was held for 100 people including staff nurses, paramedicals, students and office staff.

🌺The session was introduced by Dr Rajesh Kasla. Dr Nehal Shah , Dr Bela Verma and Dr Rajesh Chokhani shared insights on the importance of learning BLS skills.

🌺The CPR BLS sequence was shared with the participants via videos and the same was explained to them by Dr Amruta Shirodkar.
The participants were given a chance for hands-on training on mannequins and helped in demonstrating the correct technique of BLS skills.

🌺IAP Mumbai acknowledges the office bearers of CPS, President Dr Ajay Sambre, Vice President Dr Kavita Patil and Vice President Dr Meghna Andankar for their immense support in conducting this program. IAP Mumbai also acknowledges the contribution of Dr Parmanand Andankar.
The event was followed by refreshments for all the participants.
