National Safe Motherhood Day

🌺IAP Mumbai celebrated National Safe Motherhood Day at the Pt. MMM Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi with antenatal mothers visiting the hospital’s Out Patient Department.

🌺A talk on ‘Safe Motherhood Practices’ was taken covering both care during both antenatal and postnatal periods.

🌺Dr. Rachna Keshwani covered the discussion on antenatal care for mothers.Dr. Neha Nabar enlightened mothers on essential self care during postnatal period with special emphasis on postnatal maternal nutrition. Dr. Vrushali Godavale spoke on newborn care practices including importance of breast feeding.

🌺The talk was very well received by the antenatal mothers and their families and ended with the faculty answering their queries.

🌺Poshan packets containing moong dal, jaggery, ragi flour, were distributed amongst ANC mothers after the talk.
