Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NFBI initiative at Vansh hospital Kandivali East on 25th March 2026.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla, Sr Poonam Rami and Dr Nita Jagad. The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 The session was attended by 15-16 enthusiastic participants, which included staff nurses, maushis, obstetricians, and Pediatricians

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Chetna Parmar on behalf of Vansh Hospital and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
