Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NFBI initiative at Niramay mother care hospital, Kandivali West on 8th April 2026.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla, and Dr Nita Jagad. The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 The session was attended by 10 enthusiastic participants, which included staff nurses, obstetricians, pediatrician.

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Sunila Jathar on behalf of *Niramay mother care Hospital and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of IAP Mumbai.
