Newborn First Breath Initiative (NFBI)

🌸 IAP Mumbai organised a Basic NRP Sensitisation Session under the NFBI initiative at Dr Pooja child care, maternity and surgical hospital, Mira Road on 10th April 2026.

🌸 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla, and Dr Nita Jagad and Dr Chetna Parmar. The importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills was emphasised. The faculty covered the initial steps of resuscitation and positive pressure ventilation in detail, along with hands-on training.

🌸 The session was attended by 38 enthusiastic participants, which included staff nurses, obstetricians, pediatrician.

🌸 The program was coordinated by Dr Chetna Parmar ( IAP member) and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of *IAP Mumbai
