Paediatric Cardiology

🌺The Episode 4 of the Season 2 Webflix Series, 2024 by IAP Mumbai on Paediatric Cardiology with Dr Kshitij Sheth as the expert and Dr Tanushri Mukherjee as the moderator was held on 31st May, 2024 on the zoom platform.

🌺The session began with basic Q & A related to the various clinical presentations of the common Pediatric Cardiac cases for office practitioners . It included detailed discussion on congenital heart diseases, early screening, various modes of intervention and management. Important clues on Importance of vaccination, physical activity and sports restrictions were discussed.
Management of conditions like Syncope, Pediatric Hypertension, Kawasaki disease, child with chest pain and palpitations were covered.
There was a comprehensive and clear discussion on how to do antenatal counselling of parents with fetus with congenital heart disease.
Dr Kshitij Sheth patiently answered the queries of an audience of 40 practising pediatricians. The session was made interesting by active participation of delegates.
