Parent Awareness

🌸IAP Mumbai conducted an interactive informative and interesting online Parent Awareness Antibiotics Webinar to mark the IAP Rational Antibiotics Day on 26th September 2026.

🌸It was conducted by Dr. Rajesh Kasla, Dr. Jagruti Sanghvi and Dr. Reepa Agrawal.

🌸”Preserve Antibiotics, Protect Children”, this theme was incorporated throughout this session. Families were guided on the appropriate use and potential risks of misusing antibiotics in children. Common misconceptions were busted and safe practices were discussed in details.

🌸It was conducted in an engaging question and answer format in Hindi/ English. Clear, practical and insightful take home messages were given to the families about rational use of antibiotics.

🌸Around 70 families benefitted from this session and parents appreciated this thoughtful initiative.
