Rational Antibiotic Day

🌺The concept of a “Rational Antibiotic Day” was promoted by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) on September 26th to raise awareness about the misuse of antibiotics and the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance.
It aims to unite various stakeholders in the fight against AMR.
This requires a united call for raising public and professional awareness about the dangers of antibiotic misuse and the need for responsible antibiotic stewardship.
