Responsible Netizens

🌺“Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility and it boils down to this: in cybersecurity, the more systems we secure, the more secure we all are” – Jeh Johnson

🌺Cyber awareness is the need of the hour. IAP Mumbai with its small contribution, facilitated this for the children of 8th-11th grades at Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur in Gujarat at a winter spiritual retreat being held for them. The speaker for the event was Ms. Shilpa Chandolikar, executive board member at Responsible Netizens.

🌺The event was well-attended by around 350 children and all the event coordinators and dignitaries from the ashram. Enthusiastic children’s questions were taken up at the end of the session. Ms. Shilpa provided all the necessary helpline numbers and information to the crowd. The event ended with a pledge taken by the crowd to be a “Responsible Netizen” as on December 24th, 2024.

🌺The entire event was co ordinated by our EB member Dr. Shrunal Kamdar on behalf of IAP Mumbai and Ami and Nilima from Dharampur ashram. It was facilitated by Dr Nehal Shah and Ms Sonali Patankar from the Cyber Awareness Association.
