Safe Motherhood – Cooper Hospital

🌺A Healthy World begins with Healthy Mothers and Healthy Children…

🌺To share the importance of Safe Motherhood, IAP Mumbai organized an awareness session in Cooper Hospital for all ANC mothers.

🌺Dr Asmita , Assoc Prof OBGYN introduced the speakers.
Dr Harvinder spoke on the importance of safe motherhood, pregnancy planning, the changes during pregnancy, importance of nutrition, regular ANC check ups, Immunization, iron and folic Acid supplements, adequate rest and stress free mindset.
Dr Reepa Agrawal informed the audience about investigations done during pregnancy, danger signs, preparedness for delivery, Importance of Institutional delivery, labour, breast feeding and early neonatal care.

🌺This was followed by distribution of Poshan packets containing jaggery and roasted gram. This was much appreciated by all mothers.

🌺Nearly 100 ANC mothers attended the event.
