Thalassemia Awareness Session – 25 Nov 2025 | Shreeram College, Bhandup
🌺The Rotary Club of Mumbai Bhandup, in collaboration with IAP Mumbai and Fortis Hospital conducted a Thalassemia Awareness Session for 150 students of Shreeram College.
🌺Dr.Sameer Sadawarte, Head of Pediatrics & PICU, Fortis Hospital,
spoke on the symptoms, genetic transmission, and prevention of Thalassemia. He also educated students on the importance of blood donation and encouraged them to take leadership roles as Rotaractor volunteers in community health awareness.
