Universal Newborn Hearing Screening

🌺IAP Mumbai is extremely happy to share that it has completed the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening by OAE for the “milestone 2000 th newborn” on May 14th, 2025 in its project at the Sir JJ group of Hospitals, Mumbai.

🌺It has been an extremely fulfilling project and the families are very grateful for the complimentary service provided to the babies.

🌺There has been a lot of awareness created about the test, not just amongst the parents but also the nursing and the paramedical staff associated with it. The parents are given the OAE report cards along with the developmental milestones charts for early referral and, regular counselling is done.

🌺We express our sincere thanks to the HOD Pediatrics, Dr Bela Verma to facilitate permission from the Dean to implement this project…

🌺And this is not our destination, it is a small celebration on our way towards the goal. The journey continues….
