World Anemia Awareness Day a screening camp

🌺“Iron is my hero, anaemia is my foe” – Working towards being anemia free!

🌺On the occasion of World Anemia Awareness Day a screening camp was conducted for kids of Sheth Anandilal Podar Vidyalaya, Santacruz West.

🌺A total of 316 kids from 5th to 7th standard were screened. A health talk was also taken for boys and girls of 5th – 7th standard regarding anemia awareness, it’s consequences and importance of diet to prevent Iron deficiency. Iron supplements were given to 7th standard children for 3 months.

🌺A poster making competition on anemia was held for the class of 5th-7th standard.12 posters were selected by our judges Dr Sikha Agarwal, Dr Aditi shah and Dr Jagruti Sanghavi from 50 posters and the children were given prizes.

🌺Our team of doctors Dr Sikha Agarwal, Dr Jagruti Sanghavi, Dr Arpita Shah Dr Shrunal Kamdar, Dr Aditi Shah, Dr Ameeshi Doshi and Dr Isha Jhaveri helped in the screening and health talk.

🌺The entire program was coordinated by Dr Shrunal Kamdar with the school principal Mr. Ajay Singh.
