World Breastfeeding Week Celebrations

🌺On occasion of the World Breastfeeding Week Celebrations, a CME was organized by IAP Mumbai in collaboration with Saifee Hospital and the MOGS on August 8, 2024 at Saifee Hospital Auditorium from 2.30 pm to 5.00pm.

🌺The topics were based on the theme-
“Supporting every woman, Sustaining each child…”

🌺There were 4 talks and a panel delivered by Gynecologists Dr Kinjal Shah, Dr Anahita Chauhan, Pediatricians Dr Manjula Rupani, Dr Nehal Shah, Dr Bela Doctor and Dr Muthulaxmi. Dr Rujuta Parikh, Lactation Consultant and Pediatrician, conducted the program and spoke on Induced Lactation.

🌺The CME was attended by around 50 nurses, resident doctors and 3 Lactation Consultants other than the faculty.

🌺Motivational wrist bands “Latched & Loaded” were distributed to the nursing mothers in the PNC ward of Saifee Hospital. Bags containing Satavarex granules and booklets mentioning the correct nutrition for mothers was also given away to them.

🌺The program ended with refreshments for the attendees.

🌺The entire CME was organized and co ordinated by Dr Rujuta Parikh and Dr Nehal Shah on behalf of Team IAP Mumbai.
