World Malaria Day – BDBA Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali

🌺On the occasion of the upcoming World Malaria Day,an interactive and informative session was organised at BDBA Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivali by IAP Mumbai on 22nd April 2024

🌺Parents attending the pediatric OPD were informed about the disease, the mode of spread, symptoms to look for, importance of complete treatment, prevention, danger signs and follow up. Patients from adjacent OPD also attended the session.

🌺Dr Arpita Shah, Dr Tanushree Mukherjee and Dr Rajaram Welling conducted the entire session. Educative pamphlets were circulated and people who attended were encouraged to share information on preventive measures with their neighborhood, for effective disease control.

🌺The event was coordinated by Dr Arpita Shah on behalf of IAP Mumbai. We extend our heartfelt thanks to IAP member and HOD Dr Rajaram Welling for all the support in conducting the session.
