World Malaria Day – Rotary Garden Santacruz West

🌺On the occasion of World Malaria Day, IAP Mumbai organised a health talk at Rotary Garden Santacruz West (Rajesh Khanna Garden) on 13th April 2024.

🌺The theme for this year is “Accelerate the fight against Malaria for a more equitable world”

🌺70 children were addressed about the various aspects of Malaria Illness. Posters made by the team were used to explain about the disease, signs and symptoms, techniques to keep the surroundings mosquitoes free.

🌺Dr Aditi Shah gave the health talk and interacted with the children through a small Q & A session.

🌺At the end of the health talk, Malaria Protection Kits were distributed which had mosquito repellent creams and good night fast cards.

🌺The event was coordinated by Dr Shrunal Kamdar with Mr. Kamlesh Gupta, the local coordinator of this makeshift school for the underprivileged which is running at a garden.
