World TB Day – Nutritional rehabilitation

🌺On occasion of the World TB Day celebrations, IAP Mumbai was privileged to contribute to the Nutritional rehabilitation of 50 children undergoing treatment for Tuberculosis, registerd at the Prabhadevi Govt TB Clinic for a period of 6 months in colloboration with the BalAsha Trust.

🌺After a successful and result oriented service offered last year to 50 TB patients, there was a request to support other TB affected children this year as well. IAP Mumbai was happy to contribute for this noble cause by giving consent to distribution of monthly POSHAN packets to these children for 6 months.

🌺The children registered under this supplementation undergo monthly check ups for recording the weight and general well being.

🌺An entertainment program with a zumba trainer was arranged for these children by BalAsha and motivational speech was delivered by Dr Rajesh Chokhani and Dr Nehal Shah.
