World Thalassemia Day

🌺On occasion of World Thalassemia Day, NH SRCC Hospital in association with IAP Mumbai conducted the NTPPH workshop on 12 th May 2024

🌺The workshop was well attended by 75 delegates. The expert faculty comprised of 16 speakers of repute.The central observer was Dr Mamta Manglani.

🌺A pre and post workshop quiz was also conducted. Hematology booklets in the form of a soft copy in a pendrive were handed over to all the registered delegates. Didactic lectures on various topics in hematology were followed by a panel discussion on bleeding and thrombosis in children. There were 3 workstations on blood component therapy, central line devices and interpretation of CBC. There was a positive feedback from the delegates as to the content, speakers and organization of the workshop.

🌺The Organizing Chairperson was Dr Purna Kurkure and Dr Priti Mehta was the Organizing Secretary.
